Artist Statement: "Since I was little, making art has given me direction and insight to the world around me. One of my favorite mediums to work in is plastic canvas needlepoint. Through the years I have taken the skills my grandmother taught me and created my own designs for needlepoint. My main inspiration comes from a deep love of pop culture. By recreating small windows into the past encompass all the nostalgic parts of my life."
